The first large-diameter single pile of Dalian offshore wind power projects developed in Fujian Province has been successfully tamped into place during one-time operation on Nov 25, 2018, which is a key milestone for the project development and will be used as an important reference for the design of the offshore large-diameter single pile.

The single pile was erected for Dalian Offshore Wind Power Project located in Pingtan. Fujian Yongfu Power Engineering Co., Ltd.(Yongfu) provides engineering design service.  

The project is invested by CGN Wind Power Corporation (Fujian), with total installed capacity of 300MW. After the project is put into service, the annual energy output will be about 969 GWh, equivalent to the power energy produced by standard coal of 311,000t and will result in a reduction of carbon dioxide emission of 824,500t. It will be a propeller for the development of renewable energy sector in Pingtan and Fujian Province.

The single pile (No. C13) is 78.6m in length, 6.8m in diameter, with weight of 912t. The design team from Yongfu resides at the construction site in advance to follow up the design service during entire construction process in order to accelerate the construction progress as the monsoon season in winter allows no continuous construction operation. Yongfu has earned praise from the Owner for the excellent design and satisfactory service.
