On May 24, 2020, the medical protective materials donated by Yongfu to Bangladeshi Government was handed over in Mymensingh to help local epidemic prevention and control efforts.

With the assistance from Fuzhou High-Tech Zone Management Committee, Yongfu urgently purchased the donated supplies in China, mainly including 110,000 disposable masks, 100 thermometers, 500 sets of medical protective clothing and 5,000 pairs of medical gloves.

The donated supplies labeled with the words “WE STAND ALONG TOGETHER TO GET THROUGH DIFFICULT TIME” conveyed Yongfu’s concern and care for compatriots at home and abroad.

In September 2019, the 50MWa Solar PV project undertaken by Yongfu in Mymensingh was commenced. China and Bangladesh have established a deep friendship in knowledge sharing, energy interconnection and  cultural interaction. At the critical moment in fighting against COVID-19, Yongfu, as an active participant in the construction of Bangladesh’s power infrastructure, has been adhering to the concept of building a community of a shared future for mankind and helped Bangladesh fight against epidemic at utmost possible while implemented strict epidemic prevention and control within the project site.

Ekramul Haque Titu, Mayor of Mymensingh in Bangladesh, expressed, on behalf of the government and people,the heartfelt gratitude at the scene for the emergency assistance offered by Yongfu.
